Bleach Shattered Dedication

Laiera grumbled and drew the scythe from her back, appearing in a blur of shadow as she spun it through the air and cast another wave that threw the other man back. "I am undead! I need not be a character from your history nor beliefs!"
She then looked to her foot, and with her free hand she gestured to the man, moving her hand upward, using the energy to drag him from the muck and setting him on an oversized root.
"This is enough."

"Aw... leaving so soon?" It looked as if his new friend was tired of them already, Kiyoshi was somewhat sad.

"You....suck....balls" said Danic as he slowly sunk into the swamp.

Laiera scoffed quietly, spanning shadows after the sinking man, dragging him out of the swamp water and setting him by his friend.
"I had hoped to see a friend before heading off, but I suppose that can be left for another day.."

"Well, visit us sometime, you seem fun enough." It was true, she made things... interesting.

Laiera raised an eyebrow and looked down to Kiyoshi. "Hm?"

Danic just looked down sadly. 'I need to get power....but how?'.

"Well, I want to fight you sometime. You seem strong, skilled. Fun. And you have a nice cloak." His mind wandered to whether or not he needed a cloak.

Laiera thought over these words. "Perhaps. Though, I would first suggest that you learn what your powers are for yourself. And your abilities with them before challenging me."

"Sounds good. How long do you think?" Kiyoshi turns to Danic. "Let's go find our power!"

"I like power!" exclaimed Danic as he jumped into the swamp.

Laiera blinked at this. They were excited over it all weren't they? She waved slowly with one hand. "Till another time, then."

"Yes, another time. How is a week? 2?" While even Kiyoshi (almost) caught his own joke, he honestly thought he would be ready sooner, rather then later.

Laiera blinked again. He set his abilities so high? Or did he not understand the difference between ability and skill. "If you are ready you will know how to seek me out."

"Whats your number?" asked Danic as he swam out of the swamp and laid out on the sand.

"What? You got to keep your phone? That's so unfair! Although... I did keep my music...." Kiyoshi thought this over for a bit as he followed Danic.

She blinked again and at one point shook her head. "I do not carry a phone."

"This is the 21st century!" Danic through his hands up to emphasize. "Who doesn't nave a cell phone?".

Laiera raised her eyebrow. "I have no use for such a device. Though it's usefulness is undeniable to many.. I am not such."

Kiyoshi slowly raised his hand. "I keep losing mine, I have no idea where they go." He thought about it for a second. "Think they could be on my bed stand?"

"No remember your bed stand burned down" replied Danic.

"Oh... right... so... fireworks not in the house?" Kiyoshi finally understood that rule.

Laiera watched the two head in the direction of the academy. After a moment she shook her head and stowed her blade once more to her back, hidden again by the shadow.
"Now then..." She drew a feather from her cloak and blew on it. Within seconds and a gust of wind, she was gone again. Lifted higher in the dimension.. into the clouds.

"So, Danic, is this gonna be just like school? Because, that'd be totally lame." An idea hit him like a bag of bricks, and he probably wouldn't have felt that either. "We never got our toothbrushes!"

"Wow. It's bigger then school. A little shinier, too." They found themselves looking at the academy, a rather impressively sized building. "I wonder what we're having for lunch?"
