Bleach Shattered Dedication

"Yea... What are the odds, huh? It's not like we live in a dangerous area or anything."

The two walked into the street and were run over by a bus.

"Oh... my head!" Kiyoshi felt around, making sure his headphones were alright, and they were. He opened his eyes to a rather strange sight. "Uh... dude? How hard did I hit my head?"

The two were sitting on the ground with broken chains coming out of there chests. Ender looked and saw that there was an ambulance taking...them away!

"What the hell" Ender said.

"Um... I think that's us. Tough trade, our bodies for this sweet bling." Kiyoshi played with the chain coming from his chest. "It'd be better if it came with a medallion, though."

"You two work fast...guess I should send you to soul society. Though I cant really say I didn't see that coming." said the Shinigami from earlier as he landed by the two.

"Soul society... Do I get to keep this?" Kiyoshi held up the chain, he had grown rather fond of it.

Laiera walked through the general area, staring up with the sky. The air smelt strangely of an unfamiliar flower and of saltwater. She reached behind her and grazed the handle of her blade. Useful tool. Comprised of metal from a meteorite and out of steel ore from a mountain. Specially made, and a gift.
She knew how to use it. But for the moment, she simply took comfort in feeling that the blade was still there. She breathed. What was today going to be like?

The man lifted his sword and quickly hit the two on the forehead. pillars of light appeared around the two. "I dont really know where you two will come out...make your way to the academy" and with that the two dissipated on there way to soul society.

"So... Is this the good ending?" Kiyoshi was thoroughly confused by this point.

Laiera caught this statement from one side. She wasn't sure why she heard it, but it was there and a potential to answer all the same. "Depends on what you mean by good ending. Death isn't considered a good thing for many. And not much better if they cannot rest."

The two landed in a swampy area. Danic landed in knee deep water and his friend was nose deep.

Laiera watched the relatively smooth landing of the two in the swamp. She raised an eyebrow at the scene, personally detached from it and the swamp itself by standing on the water. From where she was, her hood was over half of her face, and she wore a black robe that was bound around her. These two were new to the area. Even she as a visitor could tell that.
"Welcome to the trial grounds," she spoke after a moment.

Kiyoshi looked to the black-clad figure, "Who are you? And why are we in a swamp? And who are you?"

"We have to find the academy" Danic said getting out of the pond and bum rushing the person in black. "You dare get in our way? Die!".

Laiera narrows her eyes, and within a flourish of coated movement she lifted her arm, pushing the flat palm forward and summarily throwing forward a wave of energy that threw the attacker back and into the treeline. After this move she withdrew her arm folding it with her other arm.
"This swamp protects the academy. Not all of the prospects that are sent here make it there." She answered in a calm monotone voice, almost with an uncaring edge. "As for who I am, it will not be necessary for you to know. I will be leaving soon enough."

"So... Does that mean you won't help us on the way? I'm Kiyoshi, by the way." He leaned against a tree and tried to clean himself off.

Laiera shrugged one of her shoulders. "Pleasure. I am Laiera."

"So... I'm sorry for my friend, we tend to leap before we look."

Laiera shrugged through this and folded her arms within her sleeves. "I hope you find what you are looking for."
Off in the brush somewhere, she could see that the man got back up again.
"Maybe I shouldn't mess too much with your friend. I was kidding earlier. Since you're already dead, you'll be fine." She gestured back over her shoulder with her head. "The academy is that way."

"Oh, cool!" Kiyoshi took a step off in the direction she had pointed falling right back into the pit of swamp water he had found himself in the first place.

"...I think your a very boring person" said Danic as he cleaned between his toes.

"To most, I am." Laiera shrugged at this and turned to head out of the swamp, walking over the liquidic surface as if it were not so weak as to collapse beneath her. She really had no reason to be there.

A single hand shoots up out of the water and grabs onto her foot, as Kiyoshi pulls himself up and out of the water by holding onto her leg. He coughs. "Whoo, that's deeper than it looks."

"Your not Jesus! get the heck out of my swamp" Said Danic as he cocked his neck and made a mad dash across the water at this new enemy.
