Zombie high

“Ok heres the plan” said Will. He whispered something into Tims ear and his eyes widened.

“That is so....brilliant!” said Tim amazed at his friends ingenuity. They both walked over to one side of the beasts head and nodded at each other. Tim started to channel dark mana into the being well Will started to try and our some of his blood into the beasts wound.

Zephyros blinked. "Well, that was odd. Perhaps I should follow? Hm... Sure, it couldn't hurt any." He casually rose, and headed in the direction Zoe had run in.

The courtyard appeared to be clear of beings as the cloaked figure darted around the mansion. Sight seemed to blur a bit for her though as she felt drawn to the lake. She broke into a run and past a person who stood and explained, but ultimately seemed powerless to stop her in her descent to the lake. The water slowed her progress considerably, which was a complication, as well as a mixed annoyance and strange fact.
"Thick water?" ... I have to get down there...

One of the arenas cracked in half as a dark tendril came out and wrapped itself around the leviathan. The thing tried to dodge but was pulled down. Tim and Will held on for dear life as the beast crashed into the ground. The best gave a sigh before all of its power was drained. Tim stood up and his arm became straw again.

“Oh this is going to be soooooo much fun” he said grinning evilly at the now powerless beast.

The water lock opened as Hina steeped out. She had returned after she ahd safly deliverd the escape pods to the beach where it was safe. She steeped in to a sight that shocked her to her very being. Her eyes were immediately draw to the big daddy that was sulking in the corner. She walked over to it and out an arm on its shoulder.

“Whats wrong big fella” Asked Hina. The big daddies shoulders fell as it pointed with its drill. Her eyes followed the metal and she saw Tom sitting on the ground cradling something in his arms.

“Tom?” asked Hina leaving the big metal diver and walking over to Tom. About half way her eyes widened. Toms shirt was covered in blood along with his pants. One of his arms was holding a person that was covered in blood well Tom used his other hand to run his hand through the person hair. Tom the emotionless robot had tears running down his ace though you could not see the emotion that was there. Hina took a step back realizing the person in his arms was Clarissa. She noticed the gleam of a dagger next to Tom and she took another hesitant step backwards. “Tom whats going on?” she asked in a shaky voice.

Toms head shot up.

A familiar form floated past Zoe, heading downwards. "When in the spectral realm, water is like air. It provide neither heft, nor lift. Read that in a book, once."

"Spectral..." Zoe repeated the words lowly and stared at the water. She willed that it dissipate from her sight because it impeded her progress. After a moment, the scene around her sight faded into dulled colors that occasionally sparkled in color. A tree breathing, the various fish sparking as they moved, even the air itself seemed to have life despite its evident existence here, and as promised, the water seemed to disappear. It was doable. No worse than working against a hill.This done, Zoe proceeded forward, feeling that her vision glassed over and directed her further into the lake.
There were a surprising number of people down in the bottom of the lake. Conflict was evident in much of the area. Although, her main goal was within a structure at the bottom of the lake itself, well out of sight by most of surface existence. A giant beast was engaged with combat with two others, but this scene was almost completely ignored by the young reaper as she walked to the wall and raised her arm to it, seeing that she could go through this, and then proceeded to do so. Once inside, she could see that a large mechanical sited creature stood aside of the scene, there was a woman, and there was a man cradling the form of a young child. Zoe did not move much as she watched her vision fade into color and her arm become solid again.

Hina stared at tom as she awaited his response. The body was at toms body and it looked as though he was trying to formulate a response.

“It was needed to keep the sanctity of time pure” said Tom looking down unmoving. Hina just took another step back.

“Mr. Bubbles.....detain him” she said turning around. The lumbering monstrosity stood up and revved up its drill and made its way taords tom but that moment something phased through the wall and landed in the water.

Back with Tim and Will

“Tim...I think its dead” said Will.

“Really?” asked Tim. “How can you be sure?”.

“I just can...” said Will looking at the now torn in half leviathan and Tim who was holing one its its claws in his hands.

Zephyros glided down, landing beside Zoe, still in the spectral realm. "What is this? Another guarding the flow of time? Ah... a lost soul. Come, my friend will help you. Do not be afraid, you are not any prey of mine."

"I come for the little one," Zoe heard herself say simply. She took her steps through the water, well able to see the confused child that had been taken from life and extended her hand so that the girl's spirit might take it. Death was inevitable, though even as spirits one always has choices, and not everyone knows the way away from the Earth. She watched the small spirit as it looked around in some confusion, though it was hurting... That was right...
Zoe felt her sight fade slightly into color. She was murdered... Her eyes glanced to the boy. What was this?

“I shouldn't hate this” said Tom starring down at the body of the girl. Just as it was foretold death had come for this girl.

“Why did you kill me Tom...was everything you said a lie?” asked the girl. An image created in the boys mind. Tom turned around and walked away from the group of people.

Zephyros shifted, his feet finding traction on the cold floors. "You, murderer. Tell me, what is it that you have accomplished here, with her death? Who commanded it?" He followed after the boy.

The spirit walked over to her and Zoe could feel it take her hand. It felt wispy, but it was substantial enough for her hand to close around it. She turned away from the scene. This was none of her concern as of the moment as her goal was to escort this spirit. Sight faded to silver and brown, and then past this for gray and fog.
"Little one.." Zoe began, "Do you remember home?"
She glanced behind her enough to detect a small nod from the spirit. "Then.. picture it. Remember what it was, what it looked like. You will see them soon."
There was a light that pierced the fog here and carried the distinct outline of the door. The girl looked up at Zoe who could only glance down as she stopped. "Go ahead. They're waiting for you."
The girl appeared to be scared, and seemed to swallow, though after a moment she released Zoe's hand and took a couple of steps forward. Then she ran to the light, similar to the manner of one seeing a puppy across the street. It wasn't long until the door vanished and the young reaper no longer felt the pull of the situation. Actually, without it she felt that she was completely brainless and lost.
She looked around and then sighed a little as she turned to walk back in the direction she came, seeing that her sight quickly moved to dull colors and wisps. She easily felt that she wasn't alone, though.
"You are already done?" Zoe glanced over her shoulder to see the hooded figure of Mr. Grim. The original reaper. "You surprise me."
Zoe shrugged one of her shoulders and pushed her hood off of her head. "I just felt needed. So I followed the voice." Then after a thought she added, "Into the lake."
The hood nodded. "Yes... if a teacher saw that you might be facing a bit of trouble when you reach the surface again."
"Might," she echoed.
"However, if you were seen then I will have to plead your case. I am sure that the headmaster will not press the incident against you, so long as you do not attempt to falsely use it."
Zoe chuckled dryly. "I have no intention of using it falsely, Mr. Grim. One drop into a giant lake was good enough for me."
A deep laugh came from the hood. "Then we are agreed. Take care of yourself, Miss Seirios."
"I will try, sir." He faded from sight in the fog and the scene around her gave distinct definition similar to the inside of a cavern. After a moment, she was able to define the outer walls of a building, and the glowing wisps that were swimming past and leaking from the brown forms of fish. That was eventful.

“I do not have the patience to deal with you, fallen scum” said Tom his eyes now glowing red. His hands started to glow an Erie green. His body was soon enveloped in the light and he was gone.

Back with Will.

“So there you have it me and Tim killed the Leviathan and saved the entire school!” said Will to the goatherd crowd.

“Yes yes but please tell us again exactly how you killed the beast” said a wither old man. He was the head master of the school and was one of the people that had helped Count Dracula save the monsters from the monster hunters.

“Well....”said Will.

Flashback

“Ok so that arena over there has an anti cheat system where is you use royal powers you are instantly trapped and have all your power sucked out” said Will as they stood on the giant flying beast.

“That plan is brilliant. You are the best person in the world and I don't deserve your esteemed friendship my good sir” said Tim with his top hat and monilcol on.

End flashback

“You know I don't really member it happening that way” said Tim with a sweat drop. The beasts dead carcass sat behind them.

"Fallen? How dare you? From a murderer, the insult is empty. Kill me, if you think you can."

Zoe made it at least until her torso was over the water before she allowed herself to fade completely into the physical realm. She breathed the air and felt her mouth spit out an interesting, and rather kelp-like, taste of liquid. ... Ew..
She ran her fingers through her hair, feeling that it was uncomfortably soaked. Though, she was in part glad that she was... able to actually survive... walking along the bottom of a lake and not exactly drowning without scuba assistance... How many could say that? She coughs a little in hopes that the strange lining of the substance would clear itself. ... But that might take a few days.
"HEY! New kid!" Zoe pulled her sogged boot out of the water and tiredly looked upwards to the voice that addressed her. What was the conflict? "What were you doing in the lake?"
Zoe sighed. Here goes... "I had something I needed to do." She glanced to the commotion, seeing a giant almost reptillian figure prostrate over the ground, and a crowd around it and generating a good amount of noise. They were not that far away, really.

Toms hand felt cold as he lied there in the snow. The aura Borealis floated in the sky above him as he stared up at the night sky. A small group of penguins waddled down near the waters edge.

“So your going to just die here” asked the ghostly apparition from next to him on the snow pile. It didn't seem affected by the weather at all and the fact it was standing knee deep in snow with now shoes or socks on.

“Teh” spat Tom as his head turned away from the apparition. “There is nothing more for me”.

“And this 'sanctity of time' that you killed me over.....it will just accept this boys unnatural death?”.

“You know as well as I do that y death does not affect the 'stream of time'” said Tom.

“I only know what you believe to be true”. Toms eye lit up and rolled up and shot a green sphear of energy at the apparition. The snow pile exploded into a multi color spectral that did little more then spook the penguins causing them to jump into the water on instinct. The apparition appeared next to Tom and leaned close to his ear.

“You cant hurt me Tom....im not real” it said. Another ball of energy shot from his hand and yet again the apparition just appeared on the other side of him. “Surly I would not be happy with the way this has turned out”. Yet another blast shot from Toms hand this time hitting the water and causing water to splash up.

“I don't want to be this way....im human to...” said Tom as tears ran down his cheeks. Quickly the tears turned to ice and and pain welled up in Toms eyes causing him to double over.

“Tom....you don't have to die” said the apparition as it leaned over his convulsing body. “Ill be here Tom....ill be here”.

Back with our unlikely heroes.

“Will I fond something weird” said Tim holding up a fist sized crystal that he had found well searching the monster for for clue as to the cause that it had attacked the city of rapture and there school. Tom who had been explaining more the crowed quickly excused him self and ran over to his friend.

“What is it?” asked Will.

“That would be mine” said a cloaked figure from the crowed.

"Hm... After all this time, something interesting is happening. What are the odds of that?" Zephyros Shifted through the wall of the undersea building, returning to the physical plane to swim upwards. 'And I'm sure I can't just let this slip past....'

Zoe moved past the wayward students. She blinked a bit at the general size of the monster that was there. That would well be enough to serve the school for a few months. ... It seemed edible anyway. With a bit of salt and a bonfire the size of the dorms...
The vampire was holding something reflective... Hm... This is interesting.

The cloaked man stood out of the crowd. He stepped up to the boys and grabbed the crystal out of Tom’s hand.

"Hey that’s mine" yelped Will as he tried to grab it back out of the man’s hand but before he could the man retracted his arm and turned to the crowd in one fell swoop. Looking at at the now confused crowed he pulled down his hood with his free gloved hand. The man had a small smile on his face. He had had short hair and a smile that any woman would fall for. He radiated a kindness no one in the crowd had ever felt. Some of the more inexperienced female students even fainted.

"My fellow citizens of Transylvania" started the man. He bowed to the crows well holding the crystal up in the air for all to see. His manner and attitude gave the impression of an old fashioned man from England back when chivalry wasn’t dead.

"Ladies and gentlemen" he started again this time sweeping his arms in broad arcs as though trying to make his words more magical."Vagabonds and rogues, Beast and monster alike. I do not judge you based on back ground or upbringing". The crowd smiled though some of them didn’t really know why. "I will kill you all with the same amount of love!" he said. His arms started to glow red as though charging something. The crowed seemed to have no heard the last part of that because they all just stood there smiling. Their eyes were glazed over as if in a trance.

Tim had not fallen for the man’s tricks and was quickly formulating the best way to deal with this situation. 'Will is incapacitated' Tim thought. Yes Will was currently bowing to the man singing his praises. Though he didn’t know the man’s name so the songs went mostly like "Long live the red haired man that has glowing red arms".

'No time to think' Thought Tim as he rushed at the man. The man sensing something coming up from behind him backhanded Tim sending him flying into the dirt. This did end in Tim’s favor as the man’s arms stopped glowing red though everyone still seemed to be under his spell.

"Long live pimp slap man!" yelled Will who it seemed was still trying to find a name for the man who he so adored.

"You are not transfixed by my aura young one?" the man asked. More to himself then anyone else. "We’ll just have to fix that wont we" said the man grabbing Tim by the throat. Tim struggled madly but soon lost his strength to fight the stronger man. The man put the crystal into one of his pants pockets. Utilizing his now free hand he used it to grab onto Tim’s head. His hand started to glow red and Tim’s eyes shot open. A gut wrenching screech escaped Tim’s throat.

"The greatest man alive!" was singing Will but he stopped as he heard Tim’s scream. "Tim?" said Will looking up at the man that he had just been singing about. Will quickly stood up and gauged the situation. 'Like Tim always said...don’t just rush in' thought Will as he tried to ignore Tim’s screams. 'HoId your signature' Thought Will as his energy levels concealed themselves. 'Sneak up on him' thought Will as he walked up behind the man.

The man smiled as he held his new toy. "You will love yourself after this trust me. My master did the same thing for me and look how I turned out. I’ve killed more humans then the great Dracula six times over. You’ll be my toy every night...." the man just kept talking as he held Tim Tim’s screams had been reduced to small whimpers.

Will did the only thing he could. HE was still exhausted from the fight with the leviathan. He grabbed the man from behind and pushed him to the ground. The man not sensing his presence in the slightest quickly jumped away and dropped Tim to the ground. Will quickly knelt next to his friend and started to try and check if he was ok. The medical instruction at the academy had never been that good.

'He masked his presence perfectly...who is this child?' Thought the man as he stood on the edge of the cliff. 'Whatever' Thought man putting his hood back up. 'I got what i came here for' He thought patting his pocket which was no empty. He looked over at the two quickly and he noticed his crystal lying on the ground ext to them. 'Well.......crap' He thought falling backwards off the cliff as a huge blast of green energy came out the crystal. The man just smirked as he disappeared in a flash of light.

"Tim wake up....I don’t know where we are" said Will shaking his friend on the ground. They were now in a giant dome like area. The dome seemed to go on forever in any direction. The wall just receded into shadow the farther you looked.

"Will" said Tim shakily as his eyes slowly opened. He lifted his hand up and Will grabbed it.

"Yeah Tim?" asked Will. Tim’s eyes opened fully and a wide grin broke out across his face.

"I agree with that man!" said Tim excitedly. Will sat there kind of stunned. He had never seen his friend this excited in his life.

"What do you agree with his about?" asked Will.

"The whole kill everyone there thing" said Tim waving his hands in front of his now sitting body. Will just sat there with sweat drop not really understanding what his friend was talking about.

"Shhh, shhhh" said Will pushing his friend back onto the gridded ground. "It’s ok, it’s ok".

"I just have one question" said Tim who was now lying calmly on the ground.

"Yeah Tim?"

"Who is she?" asked Tim pointing at someone behind Will. Will turned around and girl stood there. She wore a cloak just like the man they had been fighting. Her hair was oddly two different colors. Will recognized her appearance instantly.

"A reaper" said Will standing up and standing in front of Tim so that the girl would have to go through him to get to his sick friend.

"Reaper? that sounds fun" said Tim. He rolled over and fell asleep.

"What is your purpose, Reaper. Why have you brought us here?"

Elseware.

A certain half vampire floated in the weird blue grid dimension. He could have sworn he was just over a lake.

Elseware....again.

Tom was currently hitting his head against the girded ground in frustration. The thing that he had nick-named ‘Ghosty’ floated next to him and cocked her head to the side.

"Why are you doing that Tom?" she asked.

"I hate this place and shut up your in my head so you know that this place is" said Tom sitting down and crossing his arms and pouting. "I hate the Warp light zone."

"Me?" Zoe felt a bit surprised by this turn. First the unidentified man in the cloak, and now the attention was on her. She just felt lucky to get through the crowd, honestly. "I haven't taken us anywhere."
She ran her hand through her hair as she looked around to confirm her statement. Crowd of students, most of them coming back to reality in a daze, some stepping away, the ground where it should have been, the lake where it was earlier... Water in the boots. Yup.
She looked back to the scarecrow, who appeared to be known as Tim. "If you're wondering... he's still got time to live. But what makes you say that?"

Zephyr laid on the shore. He distinctly disliked swimming. Going down was fine, but coming up when you aren't exactly buoyant is a bit of a pain.
